Cleaning

Remove dust, marks, and other stains.

After a while, pianos lose their shine from when they were first bought. Pianos can become dusty and marked, particularly inside the case on upright pianos and under the strings on grands. All sorts of items can be found down inside a piano, sometimes making it difficult to play. These issues occur  especially if there are children in the house! A full cleaning involves carefully vacuuming, removing stains and marks, wiping the case and the high polish (if applicable) and removing dust from hard to reach areas such as the soundboard and underneath the keyboard.

More intensive French polishing can be undertaken to remove cracks and stains that are on the case or cabinet. Please contact us for more details.
